A closer look at zunelaro.
Zunelaro is an editorial play desk: a place to compare small games, understand their controls and keep a short list of interesting ideas.
Why this desk has a small playable shelf
A short catalogue can make the differences between games easier to see. Tidebend asks you to read a moving shoal. Glimmer Run asks you to keep a route open while gathering coins. Lane & Roll gives you a compact sequence of aim-and-power decisions. Each title has its own rhythm and a clear place to begin.
The nine development entries have another purpose. They hold visual ideas and possible directions without pretending that an illustration is a released game. Their labels remain visible so a visitor can choose between playing now and browsing an unfinished concept.
An editorial approach to a break
The notebooks focus on decisions you can observe: a hook’s descent, a rover’s escape route or the effect of keeping one bowling control steady. They do not introduce extra currencies, upgrades or rules into the games.
The site’s community area gives visitors a separate place to share an observation. No testimonials, player totals or review scores are invented to fill an empty panel. When no visitor has posted, the panel says so.
Images with a clear job
The cover illustrations use a consistent flat, geometric language, while each scene has its own composition. Their job is to make the catalogue easy to browse and give every idea a recognisable subject. They do not replace the actual moving game scene.
An entry should still make sense from its title, status and written notes. Images add context; they are not the only way to find a playable title or understand a control.
